On August 27, the Dongfang Bonded Logistics Center (Type B) successfully passed the formal acceptance inspection conducted by a joint acceptance team comprising Haikou Customs, the Hainan Supervision Bureau of the Ministry of Finance, the Hainan Provincial Taxation Bureau of the State Taxation Administration, and the Hainan Branch of the State Administration of Foreign Exchange. As the first bonded logistics center in western Hainan Province, it will serve as a new engine driving the outward-oriented economic development of the region.

    Following on-site inspections and centralized evaluations, the joint inspection team unanimously approved the acceptance of the Dongfang Bonded Logistics Center (Type B)'s infrastructure and regulatory facilities. They signed the “Acceptance Minutes for the Infrastructure and Regulatory Facilities of Dongfang Bonded Logistics Center (Type B)” with Dongfang City. The acceptance results will be submitted to relevant national ministries and commissions for review and confirmation according to procedures.

    A Bonded Logistics Center (Type B) is a customs bonded supervision site offering multiple policy functions such as import bonded storage and export tax rebates. Enterprises can conduct bonded warehousing, bonded logistics, bonded commodity display and trading, global procurement, and international distribution and delivery within the center. Located within the First Loading and Unloading Area of Bashi Port, the Dongfang Bonded Logistics Center (Type B) spans 23,995 square meters. Its establishment was jointly approved by the General Administration of Customs, Ministry of Finance, State Taxation Administration, and State Administration of Foreign Exchange on August 1, 2025. This center will further optimize the layout of special customs supervision zones and bonded supervision sites in our province. Leveraging its policy advantages, the center primarily conducts bonded blending operations for imported copper concentrate, playing a significant role in safeguarding the strategic security of national mineral resources.

Moving forward, Haikou Customs will support Dongfang City in leveraging the Bonded Logistics Center (Type B) as a fulcrum to build a high-level platform for opening up to the outside world. This initiative aims to explore new growth poles for foreign trade within the Hainan Free Trade Port and contribute to its high-quality development.
